if Buffy, Firefly, and Twin Peaks can get made into films so can Arrested. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was made into a television series 5 years after the movie. Nobody knew who Joss Whedon was when the movie came out. And the movie had a very short-lived success. So, nobody knew who Whedon was when the series was made either. Huge difference between Buffy and the other examples. Also Buffy had a very long run (11 seasons right?) Arrested Development only lasted 3, Twin Peaks was 2, and Firefly was 1.

One movie, that is already made, that I'd love to see finally see the light of day is The Last Ride. It's about Hank Williams' final days leading up to his death in the back of a Cadillac. I've been dying to check it out for a while now. They said it's due for a 2011 release, but I can't see it happening. No promotion. Truthfully, I can't believe it got made. Most Hank Williams fans are likely in their seventies to nineties. I can't see them making a special trip to the theater for this. I'll be the youngest person to see this. And want to. www.savingcountrymusic.com/hank-williams-movie-the-last-ride-readies-2011-release
