This is a fun little game. Open up your music library (iTunes for me) and organize by artists. Look for the big sections, and select the first and last songs from that artists. You should get a number for how many songs you have by that artist. Here's some of the big ones in my iTunes library:
The Beatles: 130 David Bowie: 126 The Doors: 105 The Notorious B.I.G: 98* Red Hot Chili Peppers: 116 The Smiths: 125* Talking Heads: 145* 2Pac: 240*
*Entire discography

I've actually paid for almost everything in my itunes.. I'll admit to downloading a few albums but I will still buy them one day.. Here's my "purchased" section: Doesn't seem like much right? This was like 200 bucks. I think the thing that pisses me off the most is that Apple jacked up the prices on The Beatles stuff, because they know people will pay for it. They try to justify it by including a stupid menu option that is totally useless, and a 3 minute documentary that isn't very good. The Beatles audience is primarily older people, who don't know what Limewire is (Limewire doesn't actually exist anymore), so of course they'll buy this stuff. Good for you hawk for supporting musicians you love, but as much as I'd love to I just can't justify buying this stuff. There are 243 songs in the purchased section, and I've got 2814 songs overall.

I thought it was ludicrous that The Beatles are $1.29 or more. It's like you know, we know you wanted them for a while, you wouldn't mind paying a little extra would ya? Great job.

Man, I really don't do much internet music listening / collecting.
Funniest thing about that, too- the reason for this is because I try to keep my computer with as much free space as possible yet I seem to have a truckload of problems anyway. That's probably some Grade-A irony right there.
I'll have to go through my CD's to answer this.

I know CDs are considered to be outdated, but I still buy them frequently. I like the stuff that comes with it and just the ability to have them.

I can't afford to buy more CD's. But all I collected was CD's until maybe 2004.

Beastie Boys: 127
With the addition of Paul's Boutique and Check Your Head I've reached 127 with the best white rappers ever; Mike D, Ad Rock, and MCA.
Man, these guys are old now. I saw video of them recently and they still got it though. Hope I can see them live sometime in my lifetime.
