I still like Ebert, but that was a terrible thing to have posted on Twitter. "Real friends don't let jackasses drink and drive." Is that seriously supposed to be funny? All it does is just make Ebert look like an asshole. I hate to say it, but it's true. He was drunk, he got behind the wheel, and two people died as a result. I don't think less of Dunn, but all I'm saying, is that was stupid. I doubt Ebert meant any harm when he said it, it's not like he said "Friends don't let idiot jackasses drive drunk." He did tweet "Ryan Dunn, RIP" before he tweeted that. You can't say he is insensitive. He's said much stupider stuff: "Starship Troopers is the most violent kiddie movie ever made. I call it a kiddie movie not to be insulting, but to be accurate: Its action, characters and values are pitched at 11-year-old science-fiction fans." "Fight Club is the most frankly and cheerfully fascist big-star movie since Death Wish, a celebration of violence in which the heroes write themselves a license to drink, smoke, screw and beat one another up." "So it's settled: Citizen Kane is the official greatest film of all time."

From what I heard from my buddy that's an accurate description of Fight Club. Being that Fincher directed it, I think it's more than that.
