Honestly this doesn't surprise me in the least. I don't pay attention to politics because I simply see politics as a career that does horrifying corrupt things to good people but I saw this coming. Even if SOPA passes it won't be in effect for long because the Supreme Court will slap it out of the air for being unconstitutional. It happened with the previous 2 attempts to get this bill passed and all it represents is their inability to stay the fuck down. Either way there is no chance in blue hell SOPA is going to pass.

God I hope you're right, Joe. I'm not listening to Obama anymore. He promised to veto the NDAA, didn't. Promised to lower unemployment, didn't. Promised to stop spending money like a drunk sailor, didn't. And promised to bring change - CLEARLY didn't. I'm just hoping people make the right choice this election. Not many of the Republicans are good candidates (the only two I see eye to eye with are Gingrich and Paul), but anything is better than the backstabbing liar we picked to run our country for the past four years. Also, found this link on the web that shows all the websites that plan to go dark for SOPA, www.zdnet.com/blog/seo/hate-sopa-and-want-to-join-the-jan-18-blackout-theres-a-wordpress-plugin-for-that/4490

It really doesn't matter because even if Obama was re-elected he will fuck up big time in his second term. As I said in a previous post, for every meteoric rise there is always a killamanjaric descent back to the earth so the way things are now it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to invest in firearms and move to the middle of Wyoming.

We're fifteen trillion dollars in debt and what's our solution? Raise the debt ceiling and borrow more. Boy, our future is looking grim.

Yep. My plan is to either flee the country and move to Scotland or build an underground fallout shelter out of 40 gutted charter busses.

As I said in a previous post, for every meteoric rise there is always a killamanjaric descent back to the earth so the way things are now it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to invest in firearms and move to the middle of Wyoming. Meteoric Rise? If you're referring to the Bush years, you're out of your mind. The Bush Years are what got us into this mess in the first place. The ones which have nearly bankrupt America, economically. The ones which reigned terrorism and the return of anal Traditional American Values upon us. The ones which turned Democrats into rabid Republican-Part 2's. The ones which have made Glee a cherished / respected musical institution. Which told every last person with morals how to sell-out. The "man" and his cronies (all of them) were MURDERERS. And worse yet, LYING murderers who sat back and sucked on the American people like cigarettes. Only WE got the blowback. The lung clogging. And thanks to them and the "2-party" control of the media, no GOOD politician will ever get the chance to run for office again. We will never hear of their existence. They'll be whitewashed over, blackened out, and erased from all mass public conscience. In fact, we're only hearing of Paul because he's evil like everyone else. He's only better than Obama on SOME things. That's all we get these days. The slightly better evil. I'd be more than willing to say, fuck it- give Paul a chance. But look at all the damage Bush did. ANY kind of Republican, just like Obama and the new Democrats (old Republicans), gets taken over and all their values get run through the computer of his respective party and anything good is thrown away. Paul is only a face on a poster. You end up supporting that face, you give the people BEHIND it the rule over America.

Paul is clearly not a Republican. He's RUNNING as a Republican. He is a staunch Libertarian. Their philosophy is "maximum freedom, minimum government." And why do you think he's so "evil?"

Libertarian is NOT a separate party from Republicans. They just CALL themselves something different. I've met Libertarians. They're some of the biggest assholes around. They're just as old-fashioned and everyone should be white-male-straight-American (etc) as the Republicans but they call themselves for minimum government. If Paul runs as Republican (meaning, if he's the guy they decide later is a better candidate than that piece of shit Romney)- he has to pay back the Republicans for getting him elected. That means he will do just like Obama did, flip on every promise he makes / social position he takes that is truly for freedom (for example- his position on abortion is ANYTHING but for "maximum freedom"). And just watch, you think he's pro-gay marriage? If he's said anything positive, he will flip when the time is right. A Libertarian with power is a Republican who knows they're a Republican and won't admit it. A Libertarian without is just deeply confused.

I'd still take Paul over Bachmann, Cain, Huntsman, Perry, Romney, and Santorum. He seems like a straight-laced man who is looking to improve the world today. Granted, he's a politicians. You can't fully trust him. But his views on global warming, education, and many others really sit right with me. He's for a minimum government, which is what we need. Not no-government, just a smaller, more secluded one.

I don't trust that Paul will turn SOPA around / send them packing. I think Paul looks like a nice guy to some people and wait. If he runs against Obama, and gets elected (Romney will be the guy for Obama to-beat so this is a HUGE "if"), either he will crack like an egg and quit or die or something (he's not strong enough to survive, reputation-wise, in this race even if he is less evil than Romney) or we will see he was just like all the rest of the Republicans. And ONE more Republican-Republican and all the final strands of America will die.

And ONE more Republican-Republican and all the final strands of America will die. They aren't going to live if Obama sticks around for another four years. So it looks like the election is a lose-lose.

Obama is NOT against abortion and won't take steps to interfere with forward steps in getting gay marriage legalized. You forget how many kinds of freedom there are.

The only way Santorum will win is if Jesus Christ himself comes down to Earth and gives a long, winded speech on why he should win. Other than, Santorum has a snowball's chance in hell of even making it close. It will wind up being Romney vs. Obama. I don't care if it's Santorum vs. Obama. I'll support the Republican nominee. I can't stand seeing him get another term.

Yeah, because that won't backfire on you. Hey, maybe it will, maybe it won't. I've grown impatient. So have a lot of other people. I will start working at a steady job this coming summer, hopefully. During our next president's term I'll be starting to get into the work field. It already disgusts me I don't get to keep half my money when I work and it goes to the criminals in the White House. Obviously nothing has worked so far in the field of protests. Congress has ignored the SOPA bill petitions, they can't seem to agree on anything, Occupy Wall Street is not only a waste of time but is a contradicting protest, and there doesn't seem to be any sign of our debt decreasing. It's time to get rid of the president that is contributing to the downfall of America. Bush started it, I'll give you that. But Obama boasted that he'll fix it. He did not. I don't see why you still have faith in him as a president. I did up until 2010. Then I was done. He's a liar and a poor leader. He couldn't care less about the people - just the money in his wallet. The reason I'm surprised you support him is because you've complained in the past that you're broke and are barely getting by. I assume you're middle class, as am I, since we can both afford things like TV's, Netflix, and computers. So why are you supporting the man who is SUBTRACTING your income and giving it the undeserving poor? The Republican nominees are mediocre to poor with the exceptions of Gingrich and Paul. But I'd still take four out of the six of them over Obama. Oh, and thanks Eduljee (zender) for starting another government debate.
