Michael Gross and a brand new gang take on the underground beasts.
Rating 3/4 stars.
Burt Gummer and a trio of new characters return for another Direct-to-Dvd sequel of the cult 90s film "Tremors". "Tremors 3", dubbed, "Back to Perfection" features new characters, new creatures, and we return to the original setting of Perfection, Nevada after battling Shriekers in Mexico.
Eleven years after Burt's departure from Perfection, Nevada, he returns to find that Perfection is now swamped with comic, apparel, hats, toys, gloves, and even a theme park ride based on the subterranean underground beasts, "Graboids". A new breed (or breeds) of worms have arrived. We have "El Blanco" also called "The Great Albino Graboid". Same as the others, only doesn't produce Shriekers. And we have "Ass-Blasters" the flying graboid that, dear God, blasts fire out of his rear to take off.
Now Burt (Michael Gross), Jack (Shawn Christian), Jodi (Susan Chuang), and Miguel (Tony Genaro) must battle out El Blanco, Shriekers, and Ass-Blasters if they wanna keep alive. In the mean time, government scientists are saying that since the worm is an extinct species, they must not harm them. Which angers Burt saying their eating their land and a threat to their life. As well as Miguel saying he was said to protect his cattle if harmed by coyotes or graboids.
The movie is silly and funny and another great sequel. Seeing this back in 2005, I didn't know what to say. I was confused and left in shock after this. Watching it again recently, I liked it and found it funny. Now saying I have seen every Tremors movie made, I can say that I like them all safely. I was happy to see that they mentioned what happened to Grady and Earl from "Tremors 2". Their said to be running a "Graboid Theme Park" in Bigsby and making a fortune. Not a bad sequel, which remains a solid Tremors movie in my book.
