A strange, anthology like film based on sex. I call this "Sexed up Creepshow". Plus when I talk to people I compare it to Creepshow. The only think is was that Creepshow was a good movie. This movie was just a movie that could have a stayed a secret discussion, is now what is either a private or artificial conversation, has now been viewed by hundreds of perverts.
"After Sex" is a pointless anthology depicting the life of eight couple, some straight, some bi-sexual, and some gay. We deal with struggling boyfriends and girlfriends, horny teens, a braindead posing as an escort, a homophobic teen, a woman who likes to be pleasured by another, a womanizer, an elderly couple showing they still got it (ruined John Witherspoon for me), and a rockstar and a teacher, both men, enjoying themselves.
Even one of my favorite actresses, Mila Kunis, couldn't save this movie from being God awful. The homophobic teen clip, is really disturbing. Your sitting there with an awkward face waiting and hoping for the scene to be over. I swear, if it wasn't just for the dialogue, I would have fast forwarded the whole scene.
Like I have said in various reviews, I enjoy films with dialogue that is interesting and based around the protagonists life and actually digging into the field of their certain life. This dialogue was too raunchy (coming from a man who loves Clerks). The discussion of sex and indepth conversations just disgust me and are so unneeded.
I have no idea (nor interest) if this movie actually came to theaters or was even screened. I just wanted to see this seeing Mila Kunis was in it. I thought she would at least make a sem-decent performance. Her clip wasnt horrible, but she wasnt giving it much effort, being a confused girl about her orientation, asking unneeded questions that are uncomfortable just listening too.
All in all, If your a teenager looking for a movie with no nudity, just raunchy dialogue (which I doubt), After Sex is right for you. If your someone who is struggling with a relationship and need some good words to sat to your girlfriend or wife, too pick this up. But if you have good sense, skip it.
Starring: Mila Kunis, Jane Seymour, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Taryn Mannin, Marc Blucas, Zoe Saldana, Mariah Brun, Jose Pablo, Cantillo Marco, and Alexandra Cheron. Directed by: Eric Amadio.
