My family and I fear that our cat Tiger is going to die soon. He just refuses to eat, and the vet has done all that she could, but he is just old now and his kidneys are failing him. All we can do now is just give him as much love and comfort as possible while he is still with us.

Simba is doing fine, though my mom keeps bringing up the possibility he looks skinnier, which has me a tad worried. He's still eating and going to the bathroom regularly. Still energetic and sleeps a lot. Nothing much as changed. Wishing Tiger the best.

Anyway...it is quite apparent more than ever now that Tiger (You do remember seeing him in my birthday video, don't you?) is dying and he will not be with us much longer. Soon we will be calling this special veterinarian to euthanize him, so that he may die peacefully. We are already thinking about burying him under a bush, since he always loved laying under a bush while outside, whether the sun was out or if it was cloudy. We are even considering giving him a plague in honor of his memory. At the moment, he is still with us, but I am already in a state of mourning. I am going to miss you so much, Tiger!

When you can tell that someone is about to die, it is even worse. If you look at some of my past posts you will see that empathize with you. I know. It is so much more emotionally draining to know when someone or something is going to die, rather than it come as an abrupt suprise. On the other hand, at least death will not be coming like "thief in the night", but more like a thief in the day (with everyone up and alert).

Tiger has died. Tiger has Died "LONG LIVE THE KING!" Tiger has died. I am so sorry. Although this post is small, know that my sympathy is big. Thank you, Pat and Eduljee, for the sympathy and condolences! I wanted to give this topic its own thread, but right now I am still grieving. However, I will try to make that thread sometime soon. Again, thank you guys for being there for me.

I'll still try to come on here this week and post, but thank you for understanding. As for having a background memorial of Tiger, I have posted several pictures of him already in his own thread. Though, I would greatly appreciate it if you could use the one of his cute face as the forum background. Aslo, rather than having it up for a day, I would greatly appreciate it if we could have it up until after Easter (one week). That would be doing Tiger a huge favor. Not only that, but can you please keep in your thoughts? As well as give Simba a great big hug for me. I am sure Simba would appreciate that, much like how Tiger always did.

Honestly, I think it does the forum well. But that's not the point. Its purpose is to honor Tiger, and that's what it will do. Really like the thread you posted. Nice, earnest, and very, very thoughtful.

I'm also glad that you like the thread I wrote, since I put a good deal of thought into writing. Not only that, but because Tiger's death happened that day, it proved difficult to write. Yet I really wanted to discuss the situation with you guys since you guys truly are caring. Tiger has died. Tiger has Died "LONG LIVE THE KING!" Ironic that you should state that, since my mom would always refer to him as "the king of cats." Tiger's death has been surprisingly harder on my mom and than it has been on me (even though we both loved him more than life itself), but I do what I can to comfort her whenever she begins to cry. She really appreciates it.

Screwed up good this time. Saved my Powerpoint project to the notebook I was using not my actual hard-drive. Hoping tomorrow I can recover it. Things like this always happen to me; stuff goes so well, and then, BOOM, immediate problem.

I referred to Zender as Pat by mistake! Sorry about that, Zender! Well, at least I corrected that error.
