Raiders are 1-3 going into the regular season. fingers crossed that d-mac will stay healthy the whole season, but at this point a colony on jupiter seems more likely. raiders will be lucky to pull 7 wins with our defense and coaching. but i'd be happy to be proven wrong. 10 years without a playoff appearance, you can start to get a little jaded about the whole franchise. I'm convinced it's all karma payback for the times we "bended" the rules in the 60s 70s and 80s. Speaking of Raiders, your avatar was annoyingly small. Thought I'd enlarge it a little. |

I broke my tooth crown while I was eating hard candy. While I should be thankful, which I am, that it was just a crown and not a real tooth, I still feel like shit about it. I don't know I long I can go for like this, for it feels uncomfortable (but there is no pain), but I will need to see a dentist as soon as possible. I was having a really nice day until that happened. What a pain in the scrotum.  |

Care to give us an update? I will be going to the dentist tomorrow to have the crown replaced. Hopefully it will be quick procedure with as little pain as possible. It's also going to be hard on my bank account, but thankfully I will be paying intervals; that plan is much more affordable for me. |

I couldn't go to the dentist today due to a really bad bout of insomnia, so my appointment has been rescheduled for the 17th. On the bright side, I have gotten so use to my broken crown, that it really doesn't bother me anymore.

I'm just overwhelming unhappy right now. Seriously, guys, why did you guys have to DESTROY my faith in God with your comments? At of all the nights to have a bad night, why did it have to be that very night (the 12th)? If I had been having a good night, I would have gone. I would have had no desire to play video games, eat fast food, and watch cartoons to make myself feel better. Heck, even with the bad night that was, I still would have gone if I had myself committed to the lie that "God will make everything all right." When you're an atheist, you are committed to the truth and CANNOT tell yourself such bogus lies. Honestly, I'd give ANYTHING to believe in God again! Anything! Sadly, I would be going back to wasting my life over a lie. God is fictional and that's all there is to it. We human beings are alone in this universe and we just have to deal with it. So instead, I will dedicate the rest of my life to eradicating the lies that religion has supplemented on the world's populace. People need to embrace truth for the betterment of us all, and stop poisoning themselves with lies. No matter how good a lie may "feel", it is still a lie and lying is bad. Speak only truth and you WILL be a hero. |
