Actually, I have rather a hefty number of posts myself, and so... Steve has more like 60% or 57% or 53%, something like that. And I would have over 30 or so %. Jib, maybe 6%. Patface, maybe 3. Tyler+Dirk, maybe 2. And the rest combined make the other leftover %.

Hi Steve , I got your e-mail and I do know what you are going through on here membership wise-I brought Movie Discussions and I have only one other fulltime member on over there but I am lucky to have quite a few of the older members come on and do the odd post which helps me out.
We live in a world where peoples attention spans are about five minutes long at best and really a lot of the younger guys out there get bored in about 10 minutes with most sites.
I am 43 and my other member is in his mid 30's , I have just got another lady on there that is in her late 30's as well so I know what age group my forum is heading towards and I am quite happy about that , of course it would be good to have some younger members on there but it does not worry me either way.
I don't belong to any other forums anymore , hell tulloch is not even on Facebook and I have pulled out of all other sites-my life is so much easier now because of that.
Now I am a stubborn bastard Steve and I will run my site till the day I die but that is me-you might have to look carefully at what you want to do here with this site , I know it might be painfull for you to wrap it up as you started it from scratch but yeah these things happen and there are a hell of a lot of these types of sites out there now-too many I think.
I would be happy with 4 or 5 members to be honest and I read that rather long winded letter from that departing member which I thought was a bit over the top-if someone wants to go then they will go and no matter how hard you try you won't change there minds-I don't believe in begging them to stay like I use to , that gives them all the power then-let them go.
Now I just cleaned out over 1700 members out of my site which were basically spammers and I accidently deleted your membership which means all your posts have reverted to guest and your post counts have all gone-I have kept a record of all counts so I can put them back on there as well as your blu ray status if you want to come back to rejoin the site.
Now you might be thinking fuck this guys got a nerve saying this here but I am offering you guys an option here if things get worse , I know NP was banned from over there and as far as I am concerned that is in the past and he and everyone here can join me over there.
Now the thing with Discussions is I don't care if people come on once a week or once a month , they can cruise on in anytime they want and thats how I want it to run-I think too many sites put tons of preasure on themselves for members to post and then some members get this weird idea they have to sleep next to their computer every minute of the day to be posting on those sites-I don't believe in doing things that way.
Either way I hope your site does continue , just don't forget you are welcome back over there anytime-Pete

Oh, I'll check up on it from time to time, and maybe even rejoin. Thanks for the long letter. Even if this place does die out, I'll continue the reviews. That's the only thing I'll consistently update. Thanks for stopping by and posting.
