Also, this is truly one of the board's most active days. For that matter, this whole week as been filled with great surprises, posts, and threads. What will we do next?

I haven't had a cold since December 27th... 2008!  Anyway, the roommate I was having trouble with has been rushed to the hospital (Friday) and is in the ICU doped up on big-time meds. We don't know how she's going to do but, as I was ready to uproot my entire life to get away from her- it's obvious she had a serious problem and this sort of thing was going to happen sooner or later. Anyway, the ICU slaps patients with a $15,000 A DAY bill and she's been in that ward for 2 so far. No idea when she's getting out but if she does, she might end up having to get another just to pay those hospital bills. It's up in the air how much of that her insurance will be able to swat off. Meanwhile, I don't know how much time I'll be able to devote to the board but I know that writing is not an option at this exact moment. What with this just having to happen on a fucking WEEKEND and there's another fake holiday today. I hate that shit. Oh, and my OTHER roommate fucking woke me up after less than 3 hours of sleep with some chick he brought over who is talking WAY TOO LOUDLY and I literally almost took a baseball bat out there and bashed in his fucking head. I have the biggest asshole roommates in the world. (Deja vu?) |

Hawk- great to see you again. Really. And thanks to everyone else glad to see me. Yeah, I love the Broccoli cartoons. That should have become a series. New weird development in the story of the poor drunk girl I used to live with- she's still in the hospital. She underwent surgery on her throat and is now intaking all her fluids to keep her alive through a tube. She's in a lot of trouble, health-wise. |
