Kids being payed to go to school. cleveland.cbslocal.com/2012/02/13/cincinnati-high-school-paying-students-to-come-to-school/you can find a bunch of articles about this on the internet What's your opinion on this? I have two viewpoints. A. Middle income white kids (the ones not being paid to go to school) really can't complain about this being "unfair" because they already have so many advantages over the urban black youth. B. Poor kids in America get paid to go to school, yet even poorer kids from other countries pay to go to school. Note to the Mods: If a discussion explodes, fell free to start a new thread. |

Still find it a little disheartening that we now have to PAY kids to come to school. I'm not jealous, and can certainly see the point, but this seems like another handout. And as NP knows, I'm against those  . Now for the seriously reply; I'm really neutral about this. They discover the system will work, more power to them. No cash is being taken out of my pocket to fund this. |
