Arrested Development: Season 3 ★★★½ Well, finally they lightened up a bit on the gay jokes and only had a couple of lackluster episodes. Then, as previously mentoned, it got funnier. Lindsay's part remained barely visible but the story made good use of her at the end. Tobias finally became less annoying. Gob's part was improved upon greatly. The mother got more interesting. The guest stars were excellent. And there's nothing more to say. This is a must-start show just to get to this incredible season. (One complaint, however: "For British Eyes Only" was a terrible episode. It just plain sucked.)

Loved the series finale. Probably my favorite of all of them so far. I've gone on to develop a crush on Cheryl Hines, and a crush on, not Susie Essman, but her voice. Something about her voice is so strong and powerful. All in all, it was a great season. Only three episodes in. So far, so-so. Not a big of the story arc of the play, but this episode has its moments.

There's nothing really wrong with it, and the last few episodes are great. I just wasn't a huge fan of the Rita storyline, but I did like the payoff. I've been watching the most recent episodes of Futurama. They are very good. Glad the show's back.

Oh yeah, I know- that started with the "For British Eyes Only" episode, which I tried to touch upon how much that episode sucked. Almost impossible to do. But her 3 or 4 episodes after that shaped up and the season got A LOT better. Those last 5 or so episodes are incredible- as is the first ("FBEO" is episode #2).

Last episodes make the season worthwhile. I loved the way the series ended, even though I'm sad it ended.

This season had some really good episodes (like "The Car Pool Lane" and "Wandering Bear") and it had some episodes I wasn't crazy about like "The Survivor" (even though Colby Donaldson from Survivor: The Australian Outback has a small appearance). I wasn't a huge fan of the season's story arc, but I did enjoy the final episode very much so. It wasn't a complete let down, but it isn't on par with season one and season three.

The Survivor is classic Curb. The dinner scene? C'mon it's hilarious! Go get a sponge! It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia It's always funny on Always Sunny. I've basically been watching this show backwards. I started season 6 when it first premiered and decided to pick back up. That's not a great way to do it actually. There are tons of recurring characters, and they all despised the main gang for reasons I could not discern. I still enjoyed the hell out of everything I've seen of this show. Similar to Seinfeld or Curb, the main gang is a bunch of narcissistic egotistical dicks but we love 'em. Some scenes of dialogue very much remind me of Seinfeld, like when Dee and Dennis were arguing on whether or not a serial killer would use his "main tools" on her, or when Charlie was debating on whether or not the fancy office they were in had a helicopter. There are some laugh out load scenes in Always Sunny, but most of the humor comes from the personalities, dialogue, and situations.

Last episodes make the season worthwhile. That's certainly true in the case of: Parks and Recreation: Season 1 ★★½ So... this 6-episode season could not possibly have gotten off to a rougher start. For the first 3 episodes solid - it wasn't even close to being funny, the characters and the acting were awkward (Amy Poehler was practically unbearable and Rashida Jones is... too nice, if that makes any sense; she's just impossibly "okay, since I'm nice I'll just be gung-ho and go with any suggestion or plan you may have- I'm ready at a moment's notice and I won't complain or question anything you think or do"), and the stories were ridiculously unoriginal and cliched. In fact, the only character I was gravitating toward was Ron since he was nonchalantly anti-government. However, things completely snap into place by episode 4 where - if you can believe it - they find a way to make Poehler's character Leslie's insane devotion to her ethical code hilarious. Then they blast that out of the water by making her try to be bad in easily the funniest episode of the season, "The Banquet." Either way, Leslie Knope is like the tolerable version of Election's Tracy Flick and the end half of the season opens the character up to make her a lot more likable. Paul Schneider's character, Mark, is the hardest person to figure out but I'm already liking where the start of season 2 seems to be taking him. April is a little underdeveloped in season 1 but that also seems to be changing in season 2.

Tom (Aziz Ansari) and Ron are my favorite parts of that show. Leslie's okay, but sometimes she feels too much like Michael Scott with a vagina.
More It's Always Sunny. Dipping more into the earlier seasons. I've seen just about every episode. Season one is the big blind spot, and I don't know if I'm going to watch those actually. No Danny DeVito? Boo urns!
I'm amazed and pleased about how dark portions of this show is. Everyone hates each other, Dee and Dennis get addicted to crack at one point, Charlie is addicted to huffing glue and spraypaint, they destroy some many people's lives, but it's so funny!

Tom (Aziz Ansari) and Ron are my favorite parts of that show. Leslie's okay, but sometimes she feels too much like Michael Scott with a vagina. I didn't get into The Office. I decided to watch both first episodes of both U.K. and U.S. versions of the series and the U.S. episode was a gag-for-gag copy of every single thing the U.K. already did. So, not surprisingly, the U.K. did that episode better. It was an absolutely painful experience, I hated every minute of that debut U.S. episode- so I decided not to bother with anymore after that. Almost finished the U.K. version though. I got hung up on the Special that showed us what happened after the last episode. I did notice that the U.S. really cast as close as they could to copying the exact same guy playing the Tim / Jim character. How clever changing the "T" to a "J" but the actors look too much alike. My loyalties almost always side with the U.K. in matters like this. I guess nothing was learned from U.S. Coupling after all.

The first episode of the US was an actual remake of the UK opening, but all other episodes are original. I still think the UK version was superior, but dismissing the US one after one episode seems irresponsible. The UK series had the gift of brevity and looks much better by comparison, but I have a ton of love for the first 3 seasons of the US show.

I randomly watched a few episodes of That 70's Show.
I NEVER want to watch any of that show ever again for the rest of my life.

I like it. Like what? The show, or my amazing, hilarious, insightful commentary on the show.

I like it. I do too. Last show I watched was some of Curb Your Enthusiasm season five. I didn't like "The Larry David Sandwich," but the second, third, and fourth episodes were all well done (can't remember the names, and I'm a little rushed). Hope to watch more tonight.
