AC/DC and Soul Asylum aren't musicians, they're bands. When I do my list too, expect a few bands on there as well.

I'm just not sure everyone has the time to bother separating them all by person.
(Lame Excuse Alert)
When I say, for example, Björk - I mean her and all the producers who ever worked with her, as well as the musicians who played live instruments.
(Better Excuse)
Besides, it would be too hard for most people to know exactly who is responsible for what sound on every song they ever liked. Some of my favorite music is programmed and how do I know who came up with what? Maybe I owe the person who created the rare instrument they used, or whatever special brand of moog (or whatever) that created that distinct tone in the sound... Hard to tell.

It's not that I don't like him I'm (1) not into his kind of music and (2) think he gets too much credit.
