What network has, or has had, the most quality TV shows. For me, the answer is simple: Favorite Shows: Off the AirMr. Show The Wire Tales From the Crypt Oz The Sopranos Six Feet Under Deadwood D Ali G Show Generation Kill (miniseries) Favorite Shows: On the AirEastbound and Down Boardwalk Empire Curb Your Enthusiasm True Blood Treme The Life and Times of Tim The only sore spot in the HBO line-up would be Entourage. One of the worst shows on the air. Period.

Well... Mtv is very important to my teen years in the mid-to-late 90's (back when they used to show music, cutting edge scripted television... HELL; great reality-TV too).
Nickelodeon, HBO, and Cinemax are equal partners in the importance of influencing my childhood.
Today... I almost NEVER watch tv. So, I think the answer would have to be a combo of those.

I never loved one network. I would say History Channel has become one network I've started to watch more and more of. Between the cutting edge enjoyable Pawn Stars to the interesting and strange show Lock n' Load With R. Lee Ermey I've been hooked on it. I've also become fond of American Pickers has well comparing it to my friend Mike.
As far as for a favorite though, The 1990's Nickelodeon comes to mind instantly. Before shit like they have now Kenan & Kel, Rugrats, Doug, and Mr. Meaty ruled my childhood.

Cartoon Network definitely isn't what it used to be, but Adult Swim is amazing! Venture Bros, Metalocalypse, Squidbillies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and more!

I watch Adult Swim for Family Guy and thats it. Never cared about any of those other shows, but tried to watch Squidbillies once and just grew annoyed quickly. And to correct you on HBO, The Life and Times of Tim isn't on the air any longer. I used to get up around 3am and watch it, but since it hasn't been on for a while I did research in May and it was canceled. www.deadline.com/2010/06/the-life-times-of-tim-cancelled-by-hbo-but-may-find-new-cable-home/
