I tried making a poll, but there were just too damn many. Anyways, my favorite late night host is, and will always be, Conan. I just love that man.
Who's yours?

Oh, I hate Conan. Prances around like an idiot on stage and an hour into the show Im still waiting to laugh.
I dont really have one because I'm usually not up that late on school nights to watch any. Though on off days I scan the schedule and usually watch Jay Leno.

I think Arsineo Hall was pretty good but it will always be Johnny Carson he was the king of Late Night to me! I also liked Morton Downey Jr. too he will tell just straight up and zip it!

He's the first to admit that. That's why "prances around like an idiot." He's just flat out hilarious, unlike Jay Leno. Talk about desperate for laughs.

Leno necessarily doesn't make laugh a whole lot, but amuses me. He has a lot of interesting guests. As for Conan, he tries to hard sometimes. I hate the way he looks and how he acts. He jumps around with no purpose other than to get a few farce laughs. I've been known to like slapstick - but I love 90's slapstick and to my knowledge, slapstick has been dead since Chris Farley.

Leno is also a terrible interviewer. He's so awkward and his attempts at jokes with the guests are pathetic. Conan is such a better interviewer and overall host. Team CoCo!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Letterman he was the true successor to the Late Night Throne not Leno or Conan Letterman is a real funny guy he dosen't beg for laughs he's a modest person so thats why I like Letterman the guy who Jay Leno Screewd him out of Johnny Carson's Late Night Throne and the one true king of Late Night!

Until I can think of a better one... Chelsea Handler.

Chelsea Handler is hilarious, she like pretty much hates everything.
Also Dirk, don't say Leno is desperate for laughs when your favorite host does this...
Is this what passes for humor? A middle aged man with clearly no talent doing lackluster dance moves? You say Leno is desperate for laughs?

He is too proud. Even Johnny Carson would make fun of himself from time to time. Look at this clip: This is why I love Conan. He is able to make comedy out of basically nothing. Jay Leno isn't even in the same galaxy as Coco.

I'm not going to lie, that's not too bad. I've seen worse from him. He's actually not too bad.

He did a really stupid spot mentioning Lady Gaga. Even if I didn't rather like her music, I would have the sense to tell him to his face that just because she's famous doesn't mean every single person on television has to name-drop her in a way to indicate she's ridiculous. This road is walked out, the idea is played out. Move on, everyone! Our culture needs to heal.

I say Lettermen is better! He's the true "King of LATE NIGHT!"

He certainly knows how to do a celebrity interview - as his now historic shows with Madonna and Drew Barrymore can attest to. Of course, he really embarrassed himself when he had both John Waters and Sandra Bernhard on. Great interview subjects, HIGHLY interesting and provocative people and he actually lectured them on things like morality and manners. He doesn't know how to go with the flow very well. Only with Standard Celebrities. I'm usually interested in people with more thoughtful / subversive things to say.
