Celebrating the one year anniversary of the site and since there are only sixteen days till I start my first day of High School and reflecting on summer, I didnt do anything. So Im gonna start my summer reading tomorrow and Ill read fifteen pages every day and should finish the day before school starts. I also want to watch at least one movie, each day until August 31st, so that means that twenty two reviews will be written. Are you ready?

A few suggestions (if you're taking them). Pretty predicable if you know my tastes in movies:
Fight Club Seven Samurai the Dark Knight Memento 12 Monkeys Donnie Darko Boogie Nights LA Confidential Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Being John Malkovich Amadeus
Those are just some of my favorites I though I'd throw out there for your consideration. I'd love to get your opinions on some of these!

I'd like to add an "I Second That" onto Dirk's recommendations of: L.A. Confidential, Donnie Darko (if you haven't seen that, Steve; prepare to have your mind blow out the back of your head!), and Memento (probably Nolan's best by far).
Being John Malkovich gets a bit too fake-existential in the final 3rd for my tastes. But if you want to do a September Slow-down... that's a good hazy-Sunday watch.

Avoid the sequel though; S. Darko. Avoid big time. Oh I know all about that. I dont like Elizabeth Berkly do begin with. I heard the High Def transfer is great, but I dont want to watch it anyway. Doesnt sound near as interesting as the first.

Avoid the sequel though; S. Darko. Avoid big time. Never seen it but heard nothing but bad things about it. I'm curious about it, but I'll probably just stick to the original.

I actually considered adding it to my queue. Half the stuff on there I'll never end up watching, but adding S. Darko would be going to far

I try to watch everything I put on there too, but there's so much stuff, and I just get caught up with things I've already seen

I have been like two or three movies behind everyday so it kinda sucks. But I still like doing this.
