I think "Internet Trolling" could just be made more broad and be the topic of "Internet" like scams, trolling, VIRUSES, pop ups, computer software, add ons. There are so many variables to having a computer that are just a pain in the ass. Dating websites and overall religion are good things to take into consideration. But the problem with Baptizing and being "Born again" are those are touchy subjects that will without a doubt get some radicals outraged. Thats why P&T couldn't do a Scientology episode.
The school system, homophobia (which could work for gay bullying), dating websites, and the current film industry are my picks.

The school system, homophobia (which could work for gay bullying), dating websites, and the current film industry are my picks. I know what you mean, but P&T shouldn't let religious radicals from taking on touchy topics such as baptizing. Afterall, they did circumcison (the Jewish equivalent of a Christian baptism), so I think it's only fitting that they should do baptizing as well. Also, that's just bullshit that they haven't done a Scientology episode because of it's radicals. If they can take on an organization like PETA, then they can take on Scientology as well. Of course, they did piss off a lot of people with their Vatican episode, which then got banned, but thankfully is available for viewing on the Internet. So Scientology is another topic they should cover. Though I do agree that they should cover homophobia, the current film industry, and the school system (especially this). Anyway, here are a few more picks I'd like to add: Time Travel Scientology Xenophobia Misanthropy Twilight/Vampire Popular Subculture Facebook/Social Networking The Secret/The Power And they should also do another doomsday episode! That would be cool.

As for Xenophobia, I don't mind immigrants, but I think it's wrong we have to pay for them to go to College. I think thats bullshit. The middle class gets fucked so hard where I live.

Ironically, on the very day that this thread was active, Penn officially announced that Bullshit! is over and that him and Teller will be moving on to Mysteries of the Universe. While I like the premise of their new show (where they will be following six different stories and you have to figure out which one is fictional), I am sad to see their Showtime series go. Not only was there so many more topics for them to cover, but their new show is going to be barraged with censorship because of how Discovery is a primetime television channel (let's hope the DVD/Blu-Ray of the show will be uncensored).
Come to think of it, Steve, being that we are a duo, maybe we should do something on here where we discredit all the bullshit in society. Maybe have it be some sort of weekly thread where only you and I can post on a particular topic, and then have a separate thread open for posters to comment. We can call this sort of charade: Steve & Jib: Totally Bogus!

I'll think about that more as the summer comes closer. I'm interested in that idea. As for Bullshit! I'm really upset that the show has ended. It also sucks that since this new thing is on Discovery Channel it was most likely be censored, and I doubt a Dvd release will happen. But I am interested in finding out the stories, and having a little "guessing game." I just found out you can buy the final season of the show on Amazon; www.amazon.com/Penn-Teller-Bullshit-Eighth-Season/dp/B004OWQTRI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1306787605&sr=8-1 I most likely will this coming summer. By the way, Jib, I think Penn and Teller want to stay far away from Islamophobia after Osama Bin Laden.

We'll have to work on the details (maybe even discuss it on the phone) but it could definitely be good for the forum. I know! No more f-bombs, nudies, explicitly crude jokes, or just the whole topic of "bullshit." Though, you should not doubt a DVD release, even if it would likely be a couple years away. I'll wait for it to become available on Netflix's instant watch. Maybe P&T shouldn't take it on, but I'm sure we can! People need to know that most Muslims are no different from everyday people.

I've been thinking long and hard about this show idea, and here's my overall consensus.
At first I was skeptical, but with continuing thought I'd really love to do this. Here's the plan; I create board on the show and every thread will focus on a new topic. The thread will be like "Steve and Jib: TB - Xenophobia" or something. It will be a weekly thing, done whenever you want. You pick the day, I can make it happen. I was thinking Wednesday. Middle of the week, humpday, works for me, you pick your preference.
Also, the name. I want to mention the name Totally Bogus! isn't totally my favorite. I was thinking of reformatting it to something more, maybe, mature and smarter. Shoot some ideas and have fun. If nothing comes up, Totally Bogus! it is. It works, but I'd like something better. I got your message as well, and I hate for it to sound like I'm ignoring you. My phone is usually on my computer desk and I'm always away from it. I'll try and call you later this week.
I hope to get the ball rolling next week or so.
