Next week, my sister will be coming into town to visit my family for Easter. Therefore, I hope to scare her with some good apocalypse movies while she is here. The reason behind this, is so that I can get her to convert to my beliefs. Normally, I'm not evangelical like this, but her case is an exception. She is one of those people who "claims" to believe in God, but fails to do anything to back it. Hopefully, that will change, especially since she gets scared of anything apocalyptic (whereas my brother just rolls his eyes and laughs).
Besides, next week is my birthday, and I want some good end-of-the-world type movies to watch. Even if I don't convert her (chances are she might run out of the room), I still want to enjoy my birthday with some good film entertainment.
Here is my list:
The Last Night
Sunshine
The Road
Night of the Comet (still have yet to see this)
The Rapture (still have yet to see this)
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
28 Days Later
2012 (EXTREMELY guilty pleasure; best avoided in most cases)
Knowing (still have yet to see this)
The Day After Tomorrow (still have yet to see this; will probably be as hokey as 2012)
The Dead Zone (still have yet to see this)
The Day After
P.S. Before anyone bad mouths me and tells me that I am wrong for planning this, I should probably let you know that in the past she used to be one of the people that bitched at me for not being faithful enough. My God, how the tables have turned.
Plus, what I have planned is much better than taking her to a hell house (I don't believe in Hell anyway): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_house
