Didn't think this one was at all necessary. Before... But it seems some of us have some as yet unspoken thoughts about politics and the things in our lives they govern.
Speak your mind about any of the following topics:
0. Republicans and Conservatives 0. Democrats (The New Republicans) 0. Liberals (The Now Unheard Voice in American Media) 0. The American News Media 0. Equality and Civil Rights 0. Taxes, the National Deficit, Social Security 0. Morality and Ethics of anyone involved in the above sectors
Time to wake-up, kids. Here's the video some of you probably haven't seen and are long overdue to see:
If you have even the faintest idea of what politics is and what each party used to represent... You'll understand what that guy is saying. I say "that guy" because he used to be an actor. Now, he's one of the only sane people involved in talking about politics anywhere in American media.
If you have any further doubts that this guy is the real deal...

I dont honestly know about this thread. I dont have a wide range of knowledge in this area and feel Im being left out of my own forum. Plus, I dont want any of our opinions to range in conflict with members here. I know this is because of my post with Capitalism: A LOVE Story. If I offended you by support Republicans I apologize NP. I stated that because I dont like Liberals/Democrats. Hell I havent like all the presidents of my lifetime alone. I just support most Republicans.
Part of the reason I dislike Obama is because of how much trouble it's gotten me into. At school, for siding with McCain's issues got me called "racist", "nigger-hater", everything in the book. It wasn't that I hated Obama, I just liked McCain more. Both I didn't find at all appealing truthfully. I think the whole 2008 election was a crock of shit. If you liked McCain, you were racist, if you liked Obama you were the king. The only reason I believe he's in office is because he's black.
Thats my reasoning. I dont want really any part of this thread. I dont have a damn idea what Im talking about half the time in the Political area. I dont want to lose a friend because I support the wrong side.

I liked McCain as well... as a person. He was not a crazy, evil man. As a man. He was human - ONLY because he was working to get elected. That's the only time Republicans are human beings. Once they get in a ruling office, they turn into Damien Thorn. His becoming President would have been FATAL to the recovery of this country. As will a Republican in 2012. As Bill Maher clearly states, McCain was retrograde everything this country needs. Without a public health care option, for instance - we are living on borrowed time. I'm sure you can appreciate that. Without a serious altering / fixing of the current non-system, if you get seriously sick or injured - YOU ARE FUCKED. You might as well get Mom to go Old Yeller you in the backyard because a one-off FUNERAL will be less of a hassle.
Obama is slower than molasses in getting things done. But he wants to at least get them started. And holy hell - he's smart!! It's about time this country finally had an intelligent President. Again (Clinton has proven a great deal more intelligent in recent years than when he was President, but politically - he was one of the greatest things that ever happened to modern America). Obama is the only option we're being given. This country has 2 parties. And there's only one sane people are allowed to choose. The New Republicans = Democrats. Because at least they can fix the national budget and put us back in Surplus territory. But that will take getting another Obama in office for 4 years. It was a miracle we got him for these 4. No, he's not what we need the most. We need a true liberal. 4 years of higher taxes on the rich for a change.
But going with Obama means most people want America to at least have a chance. George W. Bush was like AIDS-2 to this country. He went inside, found everything that made America strong and good - and started to eat at it. To tear it away until pieces of our outside started falling off. That's what's wrong with the current Republicans.

An interview worth hearing, Michael Moore discusses how he got to be hated:

Ill listen to this when the time is right (very late tonight probably). Dont like Moore at all as you can see from what I stated. So this will be another thing not to look forward too, but it may have more thought than any of his movies.

You also hate Rush Limbaugh, dude, but he is conservative/Republican just like you. Why is it that you hate him, along with Michael Moore?

Im not a guy who loves every Conservatist/Republican. I dont like Limbaugh because hes arrogant and this may be hard to believe, but I dont like McCain much either. I think Republicans have better ideas than Liberals half the time but I still hate the Government regardless. When Im 18, Im not voting. Everyone in the White House is a fucking crook. Im not voting for a rich asshole who could give a shit about me and my social position in the world. They dont care about me, they care about my vote.

That's why I posted the Moore interview - it's with Howard Stern. Wait 'til you hear what he's got to say. This will prove that Moore is on your side and you've been lied to about him.
