The first episode of the show was definitely surprising. I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. There's no one I really despise just yet, and there's many I really like. For example, the homosexual Colton. Yes, he's a little strange, but he's fun to watch. He's not annoying and pretentious, like your buddy Phillip, and manages to stay sunny even when he knows he is in hot water. I'm also a little upset Kourtney went so early. She seemed like she could've done pretty well at the social game, but I knew from the start that physicality wasn't her strong point.
Overall, this was one of the strongest Survivor debuts in a long time. Probably since Survivor: Samoa. I've never walked away from the first episode which such satisfaction.

This was very refreshing, almost like watching a new show all together. I really enjoyed the first episode to this season. Looks like they got a good bunch of cast members for this season, especially since the last few seasons have been pretty weak casts. I like the conflict on the beach which should provide some good T.V for the rest of the season.
Oh and by the way, TROYZAN IS A BEAST!!! as you can tell by my new sig.

That was pretty ludicrous. They can't even keep the format for the first month. Still, decent show, nice blindside, and nice little intricate elements. Really like Tarzan. Has a very extensive vocabulary We can explanate it later.

They switched up the teams wayyyyyy to early. Now the teams are so unbalanced. Totally agree. The idea of "one beach" and men vs. women was discarded way too early. They had a great setup and chose to abandon it. Where's the logic?

They didnt want to risk the men losing on purpose again, it de-values the show if things like that happen. But i thought it was just getting good until they switched it up.

I was upset about Leif getting voted out. He got out because he was a guy, and I found that disheartening. I'm sick of Tarzan. He's run his course, he's simply an annoyance, and he screams "final three" because nobody would vote for him. I was proud of Troyzan. A little do boastful, but still played extremely well.
Can you answer me this: Why were they so aggravated with him the first place? I tuned in five minutes late.

Leif has not contributed anything to this season whatsoever.. What a waste of a spot. The guy has been going through the game following whatever other people say. If they were smart the rest of the tribe would have voted with Troy, but obviously they have not watched survivor before and do not understand that NOT EVERYONE CAN BE IN THE FINAL 3!!!!!! One can only hope Troyzan keeps winning immunity and makes it to the end, because he's the only reason im still watching.

He was a follower, but I'd rather have a follower than a bigoted louse like Phillip or Tarzan. What aggravates me is that this season is falling into the path of what a lot of other Survivor seasons do. The women take control, the men are made to look like pretentious losers, incapable of doing anything honorable, and a woman winds up winning. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against women on the show, but I'm sick of this cliched trap the show always winds up falling into. This wouldn't happen if the damn merge didn't happen three episodes in.

Maybe he could garner sympathy votes from the jury? You're crazy. The issue of him being small was never even brought up on the show. The last thing people would do was vote for him out of sympathy. Sympathy for what? Being born short? Big deal. He seems happy, competitive, and content. And I think you're underestimating Kat. She is smarter and craftier than you think.

The truth is, if they didnt switch up the tribes as quickly as they did the men would have dominated until the merge. That changed the game completely.
Back to Leif. I would so much rather have people like Troyzan, Coach, Russell, Rob, Rupert and the list goes on than someone who adds nothing to the show like Leif. He made no attempt to make a presence. Now i know there is always players like this on every season, but my point is... He contributed nothing to the show.
Every season (or atleast the last few) have all ended up the same.. Survivor needs to continue to change things up every year to keep it interesting, they made a start this season with the one world format which worked well until they swtiched everything up was too early. Next season they need to do something to prevent the same thing from keep happening.

I can definitely see Troy returning. He will easily grab fan-favorite as well. Definitely deserves it too.

Troyzan was the last hope for this season. Just watch it will be a cliche ending with Kim, The wannabe country girl with the baseball hat and Sabrina or Alica in the end. Where Kim will probably win and once again another generic Survivor ending.
