I have no interest in Tank Girl myself after a clip of it was shown on Inside the Actors Studio. I think it was when Naomi Watts was the guest. I hate movies and shows with characters who wear big stupid costumes and makeup to look like freaks. You know- someone wearing a Mickey suit at Disney World is one thing but I hate it when we get to Little Monsters territory.

To Steve: Have you added Gummo to your list as well?
To NP: Didn't you once mentioned on this board that you refuse to ever see Cannibal Holocaust? Or have you seen it already?

Gummo I've wrote off, meaning I haven't said I'll never watch it (like Cannibal Holocaust), but it may become something I will see for its artistic merits like (Salo).

However, I did see Cannibal Ferox back in '08 and they slaughtered live animals for that film as well. The plots are different in that there's a really awful subplot in Ferox about gangsters beating up some woman over something and the "crew" who go into the jungle are escaping the city mafia jokers. The movie actually has a really haunting theatrical trailer under the title, Make Them Die Slowly. After seeing that trailer, I knew I had to see the movie. I had to know what happened and what that woman's role in the movie was. She survives, if that means anything. And in the plot, she gets some kind of college docterate. I also wondered how the fuck that was being built on an exploitation film about jewel smuggling. Suffice it to say I don't remember the movie well. Everything was hazy. They flashbacked so much that I don't remember what part of the movie took place in the present. Link ( Warning, it's actually uncut... Very, VERY uncut... Though, they did make sure not to show the animal scenes so I think you can see why I actually decided to give it a shot): www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mmMuW1MelIThat music in the last minute is from Argento's Bird with the Crystal Plumage. Yes, this movie has no shame. Oh... I have another movie I'll never watch. Phantasm IV. Forgot about that one.

I liked the series and the first film. The second one...ugh.

Both decent films. You don't really lose anything by not seeing them.
