Does anyone else here get it? I am a long time insomniac, having first experience constant sleeplessness back in the Summer of 06. That was back when I lived in Hawaii, and until I moved to Oregon, it got progressively worse. Once back in the mainland, it seemed to really improve, with some on and off bouts of it. Yet recently, such as this past night, I haven't gotten any sleep, hence why I am making this thread right now. Because I am an insomniac, I have always wanted one of those Tempur-Pedic Swedish mattress (since they are described to be "as soft as a cloud"), but I cannot afford one because they are so ridiculously overpriced! Not only that, but I have often wish that I would get hypersomnia instead (the exact opposite of insomnia), but it has came to no avail. So I just try to tough it out as best as I can, but I do hope I can get a new mattress sometime soon. Especially since the current one I have feels like sleeping on a goddamn rock!

I have bouts of insomnia too due to my psyche Meds but I'm getting my Doctor to change them.

I'm not an insomniac, but I do have some trouble sleeping. That's why I frequent a Benadryl almost every night.

Well, you sound like an insomniac in the making, Steve. theres a HUGE difference between insomnia and bad/irregular sleep patterns. Trust me when I say that I DO have insomnia. Believe me, I know.

theres a HUGE difference between insomnia and bad/irregular sleep patterns. I'm aware. I just said something related to the conversation. I wasn't trying to say something like "I know what you're saying man. I've been through that." I was just stating that I have a strange, inconsistent sleep schedule.

During the summer I had trouble falling asleep. My brother said it was because I didn't do anything all day except use the computer and watch TV. I added more activity/exercise to my day so that by the time I was ready to go to sleep I was actually tired. I don't know if this will work for Jib or Pat because they actually have insomnia. But Steve you might find that you'll get better sleep on those days that you work hard in gym. During the summer, I'd do those things, without exercise, and I'd sleep fine.
