I couldn't agree more with you, Eduljee. Here I thought he would wait till the last episode to reveal that secret, but it appears he couldn't wait anymore. That indeed is a sign that the end of The Simpsons is nigh.
As for the location, well I am not all surprised that it is Oregon. Many fans had already pinpointed Springfield's location to be that state, but I honestly don't care anymore where Springfield is located. Back in the 90's, I would have totally cared, but now this sort of news doesn't excite me at all.
