First off, let me say the efforts to keep this board alive, at least in the last few months, have been strong and powerful. With the return of two very important members, and the welcoming of a couple new one, it's needless to say, progress is being made and personal expectations of mine are being met. I'm here to say that I want this to keep going; continue to post several times a day in multiple boards to assure all areas are fluctuating in conversation.
The reason I'm saying this is because we're getting near the home stretch in my school year. Eduljee can reiterate this as well. We have six weeks before the end of the school year (May 31st) and the final weeks are always the busiest. From the hectic workload, to final preparation, to last minute to-dos and exercises, to assuring we have solid, respectable grades. We have a lot to do before the end of next month, and, while I will still be on here day by day checking up on the site and posting, I can't do it alone. I'm expecting the best from you guys, which is what I normally get.
Let's make these last six weeks count in activity so I can spend the whole summer talking, watching movies, and well, working. Yes, I'm considering seeking a job and possibly have one in the works right now, despite the poor economy and the teenage unemployment being around 25%. I'm not wholly excited about working on my time off, seeing as after a long, hard school-year I'd like to have some me time, but considering the number of big DVD releases this summer and the fact that a little extra spending money and experience couldn't hurt, a job doesn't sound so bad. It's life preparation, and I can't keep ignoring the fact that I'm growing up. But if I wind up getting a job, expect "The Summer Diaries: Part II" to perhaps be inferior compared to my last exercise. I won't have all the time to watch multiple movies a day, but will try to milk days off for what they're worth.
Again, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. Nothing is final, yet, and I haven't even applied to the place I'm looking into, despite tight connections. I'm notorious for overreacting and planning way too far in advance. We'll have to see what happens. In the meantime, this forum isn't going anywhere. I hope you guys aren't either.
