Talk about your favorites or/and the last music video you watched.
(This topic is of course in television because that's where music videos began and it's mostly a visual medium.)

I'm still experimenting with this thread- hence the title change. Not completely sure yet what I want to do with it. Anyway, this one's incredible and so I'm slapping it with my own little Required Viewing badge. A+, 4-star, 100% stuff right here.

I didn't plan on posting a sequel so soon but, for some reason I decided to watch this video again (I actually try to ration great works of art) and again it blew my eyes out. I still don't like the song but... that video. Oh, that video:

I don't know that I'm ready to call it so good that it's required viewing, yet. But I had never seen it before last week and had a complete 90's nostalgia-gasm. It really is just about a perfect introduction to everything influential in much of the professional video art of 1991-1997, quite a huge chunk of the actual decade. Whatever it is in terms of quality (in the way music videos can actually be interpreted a million different ways just as films can), it's definitely worth seeing. In just the first 30 seconds, I'm already instantly reminded of other videos by Soundgarden, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Weird Al, and a lot of Nickelodeon stuff (obviously). After finishing it, I'm pretty much ready to name off another 10 at least videos that jump right to mind. I love 90's music videos more than any other decade (though I admit they all have their own magic- even the new millennium).
