Has anyone else seen this movie? I saw it in theaters a couple weeks back and enjoyed it. Though it's a shame that it ended up flopping at the box office, but I suspect that people are getting sick of the apocalypse genre of cinema or something.
While the film does appear to be a much more comical version of Last Night, it is actually a different story for the most part. The similarities mainly lie in how it's about how the people of Earth are coping with the inevitable demise of the planet.
I'm surprised that Steve has not seen this movie yet, but he is likely waiting for the DVD. Especially since the apocalypse genre is not his thing, but I can assure everyone that it is much better than cinematic trash like 2012 and Left Behind.
Here's the trailer:

The reason I could not see this film was that too many films were coming out that weekend that overshadowed this one, like Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Moonrise Kingdom. The following weeks were the same way. I will definitely try and get to this film in its opening week on DVD, for it looks more enjoyable than 2012 could ever hope to be. I like the idea and the two leads as well.
