I know that Pat and I are the only ones on here that like Transformers, but what made that franchise (of the original continuity) so awesome was its installment known as Beast Wars. Back in early 1999, when I was just 10 years of age, I instantly fell in love with the BW cartoon. For it combined all the things that I liked at the time: robots, animals, aliens, and sci-fi epicness; plus BW had really cool toys. I own the entire series on DVD, along with Generation 1, and rewatching BW back in '09 really took me back to my childhood. I realized that another cool thing about BW is that it connected directly with G1, back when TFs were consistent and continual; not like how it is now with it getting rebooted to death. Steve, I know you have never liked TFs, but both are currently BW and G1 our available on Netflix's Instant Watch. I guarantee that if you watch just one episode from season 1, you'll be hooked (it gets even better in the second and third seasons, but both of those are quite spoilery). I would love to hear your opinion on one episode and be perfectly fine if you left it at that (since you probably don't have time for the whole series). But yeah, Netflix is awesome for allowing us to view our favorite childhood cartoons again.
