Mine is GTA: San Andreas. God I remember the days, skipping school and playing it.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater I like it because you have to use your wits in the jungle to survive and Castlevania Symphony of the Night it was the best of the series besides the ones for Nes and Snes!

Here's a more up to date, in depth look at my favorites. I'll update it as time goes on. In no particular order: Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3My favorite fighting game of all time. Persona 4I was initially put off by how slow and Japanese the game was. Somewhere in the 60 hours I spent on my first playthrough, I was won over. The story is the best I've seen in a video game. It's got its moments of silly, Anime-esque humor, but there's also incredible depth to the characters. The story weaves a tangled, imaginative mystery that engages you until the very end. I've spent over 100 hours playing Persona 4, and I plan to continue to play it. StarCraftI don't want to think about how much time I've spent on this game. Whether it be multiplayer, single player, or researching strategy, I've spent some time with this one. For good reason though, StarCraft is an amazing game. The multiplayer is the most intense, strategic out there. Nothing compares to the fast pace of StarCraft, except StarCraft 2. Devil May Cry 3: Dante's AwakeningNot the Special Edition! Even though the Special Edition has more content, Dante's Awakening is much harder. Why does this matter? Because the difficulty of DMC 3 is one of the best things about it. And trust me, this game is hard. No matter how fast you are, no matter what level you are, no matter how many red orbs you have, you will die. A lot. The difficulty keeps you on your toes and forces you to change your tactics. Once you beat a mission, the sense of accomplishment is worth all the pain you endured. I've had this game for 5 years, and I still haven't beat it on Dante Must Die. Killer7The controls are aggressively annoying. The story is ludicrous and occasionally plain stupid. So why do I love this game? Because of those things. Killer7 is a challenging game, and not just the gameplay, the whole things is just... weird. But that's why it's great. Rarely do you see a game try to be different like Killer7 does. It's not entirely successful, but it's worth experiencing, just for the weirdness. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty The reason most people hate this game is Raiden. The reason I love this game is Raiden. Not as a character though, just what he symbolizes. He symbolizes the risks Kojima was willing to take. Just like Killer7, you don't see games as orignal and crazy as MGS2 often. God Hand I hated this game this first time I played it. It was so ludicrously, unforgivingly hard, that I just couldn't stand it. I stuck with it, and I'm very glad I did. God Hand is one of the funniest games I've played, and one of the hardest. Just like DMC3, you need to be fast and think quick to survive in this game. Also, the Mad Midget 5. Resident Evil 4So much has been said about this one, all I can is that killin' Zombies is a bunch of fun. DoomIf you boiled down the first person shooter to its essence, you would get Doom. PsychonautsThe amount of imagination, creativity, and fun packed into this game is something to marvel at. The King of Fighters '98: The SlugfestKing of Fighters '98 was really the game that got me addicted to KoF, and addiction that hasn't really subsided since. I spent hours trying to perfect my team and my Terry Bogard skills.

Ah Doom! One of the Greatest Games next to Wolfenstien 3D! Doom is indeed one of the all-time greats, along with Wolf3D. Without those games, there would be no first person shooters today.

Agreed it was the ground basis for first person shooters without those two we wouldn't have COD4 and Halo!

A few more of my favorites: RezRez is a crazy, techno fueled experience unlike anything you've ever played or seen. Bonus points for the Trance Vibrator. Castlevainia: Symphony of the NightIt look a long damn time for 2D sidescrollers to get to Symphony of the Night. But holy hell, was the wait worth it. SOTN's only competition for greatest 2D sidescoller ever made is the original Super Mario Bros. All other games bow down to SOTN's greatness. EarthboundMost people remember Ness from the Super Smash Bros. games. Most people wondered, who is that guy? Well, the answer is Earthbound, the best SNES game ever. BioShockThe first person shooter was created in 1992 with Wolfenstein 3D. The first person shooter was perfected in 2007 with BioShock. Backyard BaseballBefore soccer, football, hockey, and before Derek Jeter, Ken Griffey Jr., and Mike Piazza, there was just Backyard Baseball.

The SimsAh, so many memories with this one. Like many others, I took an unhealthy pleasure in depriving my Sims of necessitates to live. Once I got bored, I killed my Sims off by building a small fence around them, deleting the ladder of a pool, or leaving them in a doorless room. I'm pretty sure I spent over $200 on all the expansions and sequels. Super Puzzle Fighter II: TurboAn amazingly addicting game with great personality. Call of DutyBefore xXsMoKeDaWg420Xx was getting a 75 kill streak with martyrdom, Call of Duty actually meant something. It wasn't an excuse for 13 year olds to yell racial epithets, it was an exciting, strategic, fun multiplayer game, with an amazing single player.
