Falling deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole of old Giant Bombcasts from events.
E3 2011 Day 1
It's been called the best Bombcast of all time. With the Mega64 guys, Brad Muir, Rich Gallup, David Jaffe, and Cowboy, it's hard to argue.

I disagree. But, of course, I still like her a lot.
This one's a huge surprise:
In the 90's, the Black Eyed Peas of course had a strong reputation as a smart alternative hip-hop act. Then, yeah, they started making party-pop songs with Fergie and their reputation went in the toilet. I just went through their 2003 album, Elephunk, and there's some dumb stuff there as well as some quite good hip-hop. And then... there's this track. Got to be the best on the album. WOW!

Rating: ★★★½
I rarely review songs, but this is an exception. I don't like Billy Currington THAT much, but his verse in Party for Two with Shania Twain was fantastic. Love Done Gone proves that when you're talking about losing the sparkle or sensation in a relationship it doesn't have to be a downbeat song. This song is probably the most lively song when talking about this kind of thing. I love it. It almost sounds like a love song in its own right. It's genuine, while meaningful.

Black Eyed Peas - "I Gotta Feeling"
and the Chipmunks (so says YouTube) version of it. One of the legitimately good "Chipmunk"d versions of a pop song.

Tyler, The Creator - "Seven"
This dude has serious talent, and a delightfully foul mouth. His stuff is real and raw. There's very little stuff backing him. Just his amazing rhymes and passion for the music. OFWGKTA is one of the most exciting things in music now.

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes/Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)
These songs are right next to each other on the album, so I listen to the both than go back to the start. Both are fantastic blends of the pop stuff Bowie explored in Let's Dance, and the experimental rock stuff he did in the late 70's (a decade where Bowie's creative output was not matched at the time, and will likely never be matched).

Love the "Leroy Brown" song and this movie. So this parody is sweet!
