Take what they produce and dont go in with expectations Citizen Kane high. It wont be good as American Pie, but Im looking forward to it. Undoubtedly theres worse. |

Right now, that's hardly the point. I'm just damn tired of every single masturbation fantasy, pregnancy, and time a guy friggin' loses his virginity caught-on-camera like we give a shit. Real, fake, comedy, documentary, mockumentary, drama, parody, college humor, indie comedy... I don't care. I'm tired of this frat sex comedy boom of movies. I didn't care when it was Sarah Marshall, 40 Year Olds, that skinny blonde guy, the chubby white-afro guy, the drugged up Pineapple guys, people with Playlists, people who work at amusement parks, or this "Web Hit" kid. It's all the same to me. I didn't much care when it was guys fucking pies either. This was all self-important, self-obsessed bull from the start and it's beyond stupid now. No, I don't wish anyone luck with this movie. I hope it fails. I hope someone waiting for this to come out or the people who made it get a brain. And right about now, those Movie-movie dildos are already writing this into their next project. That's all things like this are good for, more worthless fodder for fake-parodists.
I don't know that it all started with American Pie anyway. Election did it much better.

Im with you on some of that though, I dont like the virginity movies all the time because you know what will happen. Virginity movies always end in happiness. Theres no suspense. There are no questions like "Maybe it wont happen?" You already know. But as long as my first time (whenever the holy hell that'll be) doesnt get filmed, Im fine. |
