I have more Actor/Actor combos than Director/Actor, but I'll give you my best.
Kevin Smith/Brian O'Halloran. Kevin Smith/Jason Mewes. Chris Farley/David Spade. Emilio Estevez/Charlie Sheen. Corey Haim/Corey Feldman.
Same thing with me, I'll add more when I think of more.

Wes Anderson & Owen WilsonBottle Rocket Rushmore The Royal Tenenbaums The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou The Darjeeling Limited The Royal Tenenbaums is something I've wanted to see since it came out in 2001. I didn't even know the plot, but to this day the cover amuses the hell out of me for some reason. 2001 was the year were many movies amused me. Just to let you know, my uncle gave me five VHS tapes and said if you want to be a movie critic you need to be aware of these films. They were; Blade Runner, Escape From New York, Raging Bull (which I've seen and really liked), Taxi Driver, and The Warriors. The reason I brought this up is because you mentioned I believe everyone of those excluding The Warriors at one time or another. Do you agree with his picks?

I'd say your uncle picked good movies overall. Blade Runner, Raging Bull, and Taxi Driver are essential viewing for film aficionados in general. I don't know if I'd call the Warriors or Escape From New York "essential", but goddamn do I love those movies.
