This three part video was shot in 1980 where Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert discussed the cons of thrillers, horror, and slasher films where they feel the film industry was beginning to put women in peril for offensive, questionable reasons. Tell me what you guys think. I thought it was at the very least interesting to see what the critical mindset was in 1980, where the slasher boom was only getting started.
