I have nothing against sci-fi, but I think everyone can reach their limitations. But yes, I think a few couldn't hurt, and I think at least three is reasonable.

I don't know where all the sequels came from. I knew there were at least 2 or 3 movies from the 80's / early 90's- I'd heard a few geeks talk about exit-Peter Weller (Naked Lunch, Leviathan) who left replaced by someone the fans didn't like or enter-Nancy Allen (Carrie, Poltergeist III) replacing someone the fans liked who left. But, out of the blue, there are a whole gob of sequels from like 2000-200Something. Made for tv / sci-fi channel productions? Direct to video?
Anyway, next month, I'd be more than fine with tackling the original trilogy.
We'll see how the votes turn out.

Actually, I believe there are only 3 films and a miniseries. I don't have NetFlix anymore, so I couldn't verify, but the miniseries in question was split into 4 parts.

That makes a lot more sense. Yeah, they're mounted like movies. Each one is about 91-96 minutes long. Made me think they were movies. Phew. That's a load off my mind.

Came in to say the first Robocop is amazing filmmaking.

I know- I've heard a lot about it. And from people who (like me) might dismiss the Star Wars franchise(s). So I never assumed it would be traditional science fiction.

I love the first Robocop! It had some great music in it and action too! The other ones after it just lacked flavor and was so corny! :-\ It's like most movies in the 80's The first one the good one but the rest kinda loses there oomph I say Robocop was a very unsung action sci-fi movie almost like another 80's Sci-Fi movie The Road Warrior! So NP what may look like coal can be turned into a Diamond!

I used to go over to Mike's house and play the NES game sometimes. Dumb fun you could say.
