Out of all I've seen I'd say probably Gag or Maniac. I enjoyed Maniac a lot more though, Gag made me want to spit, not that it's a really bad thing considering it's horror and it wasn't a super-cheap end.

Kinda depends on what you personally think sick is. Most of the really gross horror movies I've seen were really dumb and juvenile.
So... I would probably say Meet the Feebles. Because it's about the edgiest movie I've ever been exposed to. And it's scary.

Oh dear... you guys haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg for sick horror movies yet. Two I recommend are "Martyrs" and "Mum and Dad". Not only are they sick but are probably the most evil things you will ever see on screen. (All the actors involved are the nicest people possible in real life though).

After Haute Tension, you couldn't PAY me to sit through another French horror movie again. A boring, stupid, sleazy piece of crap.

I agree with you to some extent. Everybody raved about the French "Inside" (aka "A l'interieur") and I thought it was utter shit myself. But "Martyrs" is a different ball game. Short of watching August Underground, Mordum, or stuff like that, you won't find anything much more horrific legally on DVD. "Mum and Dad" however is a British film. Since I'm British too (although living in NY right now) and there are cultural differences that make us Brits pretty sick puppies to begin with, I can honestly say that I've never seen anything from my own country quite as nasty as "Mum and Dad". I recommend it to everyone.

I heard some great, great stuff about Martyrs, and Mum and Dad too (Former the recommender said to check out ASAP o.O)... Mordum I heard was crap trying to be shocking, which means if I find it I'll watch it just to get POed X). I find I can tolerate most stuff I come across, but as you say I may simply be in for sensory overload >.>

I've also heard a few others say Martyrs is a superior French horror film. I just have such a bad history with that sub-genre.
But I'm just not going to watch it. I can't risk seeing one more overhyped movie that turns out to be garbage. Not after Splinter.

Yes. But it's French, and internationally- it's considered stupid to call it "High." Besides, the "tension" in that piece of crap is anything but High.

Everything. It had no tension in it.
Oh, and... gee let me think about this one: Homophobia. Something that should bother everyone. They're saying that if a person is gay and gets sexually aroused to a straight person, they will kill people if they can't get off with that person. Not to mention, they made the gay person a woman with an obvious butch haircut, masculine mannerisms, and no intelligence. She was a nasty, hateful, angry bimbo and a vicious killer. How did that not bother you?
And if that weren't enough- they paraded low-grade sleaze by showing a woman in a shower, a woman masturbating, and a severed woman's head being used to suck a guy off. That's just classless, tasteless, and goes to further prove these filmmakers have no respect for women or gays.
And if that weren't enough - the cinematography was boring, the music score was dumb, the killer(s) wasn't/weren't scary... it was an action-thriller. Not a horror film.
