The end scene in Paranormal Activity and the scene were the car gets sucked down in the sand in Tremors are the two big ones.

As a kid, I used to get insanely paranoid at a few scenes: 1. The Fly (1986) - the arm wrestling scene. I can't explain my reaction to it. It was almost like seeing it happen for real. I was REALLY repulsed. After that, I couldn't re-watch the movie for years. When I finally did, I closed my eyes during that scene. Understand something: I have never closed my eyes watching any horror or scary movies ever. But I did for this one. 2. Damien: Omen II - the ice hockey scene where one of the guys falls into the ice and he can't get out. For years, my biggest fear was getting trapped underwater. Especially if the water is a sheet of glass or ultra-hard ice. Another movie just like this is The Legacy. From 1979, there's a scene in a swimming pool that you watch and it's like you can't breath - just sitting there, watching it. 3. John Carpenter's The Thing - the blood test scene. Obviously. When you watched that movie, that scene scared the crap out of you. I don't care who you are. I don't like the movie, but this scene when I saw it for the first time actually made me JUMP jump! I really jumped! That almost never happens. 4. Alone in the Dark - the open window scene. Another one of the best JUMP scenes in the history of the entire genre. If you've never seen this movie before, rent it from Netflix. And watch the whole thing through. Don't go anywhere. Just sit there and when you see that open window... get ready. You're in for a huge shock. I'm kind of getting close to ruining it for you. But you're could never guess what's going to happen. It's terrifying.

When I think about something falling through ice and not being able to get back up it scares the living shit outta me.

To: No Personality: The Fly was one of the movies that scared the hell out of me too but in a different way I thought when I was 6 that a fly landed on me. That I will turn into The Fly! Another movie scared me was The Ring when I was watching it alone after she popped in that video and after that mini-movie played. my phone rang It made my skin jumped!
