I come home every day from school and see that the last post in this section was the one I posted at 5:30 am. We need to make this section a little bit more alive.

I say make people feel welcomed to this forum and try weed out our resident trolls on this message board, Plus tell about release dates on motion pictures and give reviews on them!

I say (...) try and weed out our resident trolls on this message board   I think it would tremendously if we all had Netflix to rent the movies we should see that we haven't so can get more of an education on the genre. Like, I haven't seen almost any Hammer horror films or Val Lewton. There's a ton more. Anyway - I'll do the best I can. But, it's just hard with everything going on. My board (which is currently in a comatose state, not because no one else is posting but because I'm so tired and have so much work to do setting up the OOT's and fixing the Smilies and finishing my Nightmare DVD project and etc.), Christmas coming soon, UK's board, my cruddy health (the room this computer is in is gas-heated really close to me and my skin is incredibly sensitive - also, I have fatigue from diabetes, and my short attention span due to clinical manic-depression), the shitty state of the economy, the time it takes to get pics together and then... the fact that I'm actually really lazy. Then, the fact that I thought I had struck gold with the "Best/Favorite Scenes in Horror" and got like nothing for a response. So, for your wanting more activity on the board... I have to ask: what kind of activity do you want? More of the same it's been so far? Because, for the most part, people here post maybe 2-sentences max for a reply. I'd like to think that the more in-depth we get or the more challenging it is to think, the more people want to talk on a message board and this one in particular. But I doubt, if for example- I start making changes, that that is really what'll happen. This board is just too chatty. There's a difference between chatting and really talking about things. And between expressing what's on your mind and what's inside it. |

I would add more but I haven't watched any movies for a couple of days now. I just sent Trick 'r Treat back to Netflix and I've forgotten what's coming next. I think it's some obscure Spanish thing which I added ages ago and I'm sure it won't interest anybody.
