Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) Directed by: Patty Jenkins Gal Gadot reprises her role as Wonder Woman in the sequel. Rating: ★★½ Think Bowling for Soup...
Barbara just hit the wall. Diana's got it all. She's sexy and she's brave. But herself she can't save. Reagan-era politics; sidelined for same old tricks. Lengthy battle scenes. Looks cool, but what's it mean?
It was supposed to be a marvel. But it's kind of a muddle. Still fun to see Gal Gadot And Kristen Wiig turn hot. It's high-concept, you see. Like an 80s comedy. But it's that long third act. That makes it. Feel. So wack!
Since the first film, was decent, Was hoping this one would be to. But it's plagued by ideas, So dense that it cannot stay true. At least I can say that, it really is never a bore. It's Wonder. Woman. 1984! NOTE: Wonder Woman 1984 is currently streaming on HBO Max and will continue to be available to watch on the platform until January 24, 2021.
