It looks like garbage. And it looks like Ill have 158 minutes of my life wasted, but I have nothing better to do than watch an overbudget, overhyped movie. But I bought it on Blu-Ray. Though I must admit the graphics dont look half bad, and Ill be interested to see how Cusack pulls it off.

Yes, that would be a much better thing to do, Steve. ;D Might I recommend that you first watch Penn & Teller's first End of the World episode before watching their second Apocalypse episode. The first one used to be available on MySpace Video, and the second one can be found in segments on Youtube.

Then you definitely want to stay the hell away from 2012 Doomsday, a horrible 2012-based B-movie from The Asylum.
