I'm not going to write and preach about "that special someone" and that "you'll meet someone." It's all garbage. You should do what I've done, find people in your life that are single and contrast them from people that aren't. I have five major single influences in my life; my uncle (BIG one in general), Corey Haim, my dad's friend, the son of my dad's friend, and Brian Patrick O'Toole. They show me that you can be single and satisfied. I've been trying desperately to get a girlfriend for almost four years now. I finally just retired the whole idea recently after one last failed attempt. It'll happen when it happens. Right now, it's all about two things; the grades and the reviews. I swear, if a chick ever hits on me or asks me on a date, I will be sure to reply with something along the lines of this "Fuck off, bitch!"  Now I wouldn't go that far. If she's trying to be nice, and unobtrusive, I'd just say "no thanks." Better yet, I'd buy her a drink or something. You don't want to go through life being arrogant, Jib. That's not you. |

I know, Steve, but if I am going to enjoy the "single life," I got to defend it at all costs. Sure she would be trying to be nice at first, but she might turn out to be horrible person. I know this because I have been through this three freakin' times. Each one of them proved to be an awful woman, each of whom I hope will burn in hell (if there were such a place). I have met a lot of abusive people in my lifetime, which has led to my strong dislike for humanity.  Besides, she will probably say something like "Elder Scrolls/Beast Wars/LotR is some of the stupidest and most boring shit ever." That kind of comment alone would super-piss me off. |

I recently got a new pillow (around five, six months ago). It's made out of the same material those Tempur-Pedic beds are made out of. I wish I could get one of those, but the cost limits me, and it would probably make it harder to get out of bed. Not to mention, I've heard they absorb your body heat and I HATE sleeping in a hot room/bed. All the best with your new sleeping materials. |

Got glasses. Have to wear them pretty much throughout the school day and whenever I need to view something from a distance. I have 20/25 (which is fancy for near-sighted), my left eye is worse than my right eye, and I got two pairs (one for free). I'll get them in the middle of this week. Picture will be on Facebook.
Honestly, I'm not all that insecure. I'd rather be able to see then be able to look halfway decent. Maybe it's just me.
