Hank Williams III's new album Long Gone Daddy comes out April 17th. Though I'm so happy to hear the new material, it's an unsafe buy because this is the second time CURB records is releasing Hank's material without his personal consent. His contract expired on January 1st, 2011, and since then, CURB has been making albums they previously wouldn't allow him to release and churning the profit for themselves. Still, I'm very excited to hear these songs. Most likely will produce a review, unlike last time where the other three albums I said I was going to review got away from me.

This documentary called Miss Representation, concerning unfair judgment and media depictions towards women, will be premiering at my school on Wednesday. Can't go because of personal complications. But I will be getting the DVD in April and will review it then. Really excited about seeing this.

Been looking through the celebrity attendance at my Wizard World Comic Con this year. Lukewarm names. The Boondock Saints, Shatner, and I think, Bruce Campbell. So far, not getting anyone's autograph.

Four day weekend. Off tomorrow for Good Friday (one of the few reasons religion has its benefits), Saturday, Sunday, and taking Monday off for a baseball game. Love it.

Gonna be kept busy today. Movies, Best Buy to pick up two things, Aldi, then home for a brief time before going to grandparents late for my grandfather's surprise party. Not so happy about going there so late (it takes an hour to get out that way), but really want to see the side of the family I don't get to see too often. Tomorrow, I'll catch on more movies - probably at least two. Monday, I'll try and get one in after I go to the game. Perhaps Thomas and The Magic Railroad, anyone?

Rick Santorum is out of the race. One of my two Anti-Complaints. The other is today, since Survivor takes up most of the time I use to watch a movie, is catch-up day in terms of reviewing. Three pending reviews - will try to get at least one, hopefully two, done. |
