You can do this any way you want: your least favorite or ones you think just truly suck. Think back in your lives, if you have to. Think: bad acting, bad visuals, bad jokes, bad writing.
What are your picks for the Worst Scenes in Movie History?

The cat killing scene in Drag Me To Hell. We did not need to have that bitch kill her cat just to save her own ass! People who commit animal/human sacrifice are mad and need to be dealt with seriously!

Since codyw1 brought up Black Christmas in another thread, the first scene to make my list is the one with the stupid cop who won't quit laughing like a hyena at everything. His scenes are incredibly stupid and stop the entire movie in its' tracks. Since Steve's review of Jawbreaker, I've been thinking a lot of that movie. As a gay man, I know a thing or two about bitch antics and the whole movie is sincerely weak on them. But one scene in the movie that comes to mind registers as off-the-charts bad: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv3Zmw5YLqA (0:05-2:28). I mean- where to start? The music when Courtney and Marcie show up, the fact that their insults don't connect and yet Julie gives Courtney power by stroking her badness (same thing happens in the Prom scene when Marcie calls the raspy-voiced girl "evil" after the girl insults the drama class boyfriend), the fake "we care about you" turn from Julie (maybe not fake for Julie, but it's fake for the movie). Nobody in this scene has a clue. The only good thing about this scene is that it sets up that Julie and Fern will be going to the Prom together. Get your minds out of the gutter, I'm saying they walk into the room like they own it and look at each other as though someone's going down. Namely: Courtney.

Guys, it's a movie. A pretty silly one at that. No shit its a movie. A very poorly made, unfunny, piss-poor Horror film with an unecessary cat murder and a laughably stupid plot.

Well, HD, I hear what you're saying. But there is a difference between acceptable while being unnecessary and just plain hateful. I still haven't seen Drag Me to Hell but I've seen some light or silly animal murders. The extremely fake looking dead cat in Re-Animator is one, a very similar scene in Satan's Little Helper, and of course the 1-second murder of a sheep in Bad Taste are all acceptable animal murders because they're beyond ridiculous - there's no way to take them seriously. Some movies though take things too far and I've seen quite a few. So I understand and think the sentiment these guys are expressing needs to be said even if if turns out their example falls under the 1st category I've laid out here.

I've learned that everyone has one popular, beloved movie that they hate. For me, it's Dazed and Confused. For you, it's Drag Me To Hell I suppose.
