That's what it's meant for. My mom's homepage is Yahoo! so I saw it and posted it. I doubt any of those joints will go down yonder.

Corn Pops is in my top 3 favorite fucking cereals. Oh well, it probably isn't healthy.
However, I've been waiting for MySpace to die for a long time now. It's really a shame too, actually, because that site was always superior to Facebook in that: it really allowed you to design your own page. It wasn't like your own website or anything but you could make cool, elaborate sections with long details about your favorite shows and music and movies, books, heroes, etc. Eli Roth and Edgar Wright had these awesome pages with posters and trailers in their movie section and... YOU could have the same thing. It was kinda easy to set up, anyone could do it.
You know what Facebook is? Myspace meets Twitter. A superior version of the latter but an inferior version of the former. Yes, I go there a lot but that is only because MySpace had that nasty little VIRUS PROBLEM a while back. Worst case with Facebook is spam hackers but they only do that if you have an easy-to-guess password or you're dumb enough to Friend someone with bikini and boob shots for profile pics. Don't ever friend someone who says "you're hot," etc. Facebook have their Group and Like functions which are its' best features, and they're better with YouTube links than MySpace was. Apart from those things, and more security features, MySpace was superior.
Facebook is not a great place to be able to look at a person's page and get a good look at who they are. And... worst of all, whenever I try to add favorite movies or musicians or TV or whathaveyou, they don't register correctly. It's so easy yet they fuck it up: THEY SHOULD give you a system where you can rank them if you want to, easily put them up and take them down, etc. But they don't. It's a pain in the ass and I put a lot of time and effort into my MySpace page and it looked good. Facebook is lazy in terms of design.

MySpace died a long time ago, so it's no surprise that it will finally be given the axe next year.

I wouldn't be surprised, truly, if Apple was among one of those lists in the future.

GODDAMN IT! Another reason to hate Facebook: everytime you "Like" something, you get all of their news feed. WHY? I only want feed from people I can talk back to. I don't want information for concerts I can't afford to go to and to know every single time an actor or band is doing something. Now, I literally have to go and start UN-liking everything I already liked. I want people to know what I like but I can't have my News Feed clogged by every single item I like. I don't have the time to go through 400-500-600-700-800 updates every single day!

Actually, I have to respect that. I don't want to see people going crazy disliking low budget movies from the 60's, 70's, and 80's like this is IMDb or Lady Gaga just because gay people like her, etc. You'll get a bunch of political bullshit for people who aren't interested, etc. Who wants to see: 1,000,000 Dislikes for Obama just because he isn't white? We're talking POWDERKEG.

If they did, it would give them a bad rep. People would quickly abuse it. Look at the "Like" button already. It is extremely abused. Because Facebook has a lot of sponsors, being able to dislike them will give them a bad rep. Also, NP, if you like a page, it would be logical you get updates from them. Isn't that the point?

I have nothing against Apple. They are on top of their game now, but so was Myspace at one point. And Blockbuster. Times change, in twenty years, what will be around. Apple might be gone.

Well, usually there is a page for entertainment, like singers, movies, music, etc, that looks like a Wikipedia page on Facebook. It isn't official, and you don't get updates. You just "like" it.

And Blockbuster. Times change, in twenty years, what will be around. Apple might be gone. Myspace and Blockbuster were inherently flawed and bad companies. People only used until there was a clear better option (Netflix and Facebook). Both of those companies are also focused on one thing: social networking and video rentals. Once they were outgunned in those categories, they had nothing. The only place Apple is getting beat out is in the computer territory. There are tons of competitors for MP3 players and Tablets, but no one can touch them. They have the ideas, and have the balls and cash to execute them. They have a devoted enough fanbase who will snatch up everything they will make, and people like me who will pay attention to what they will be doing and occasionally give them a shot.
