Hmm... I don't recall a Severed Inn, but I can add anything requested to a list. As a matter, I'll be doing Zombie and Tremors 3 and 4 for Steve before the month is over.
Starting a new project (actually, it's an old project but I'm continuing it) today, so BoH is on another break. Maybe for only a week. It's a lot of work, but we'll see how fast I can get it done.

The Severed Inn is the movie with Shawn & MJ in it I would like to see what you think of this movie!

I appreciate the effort in Tremors 3 and 4, NP. You may get amused by three, can't see you giving it much more than a two, though I enjoy it. And with four maybe the same deal. Anyway, to talk about one of your reviews I'm happy you review The Heretic though I'm still skeptical. Looks good enough, but have been putting it off for close to three years now.

Technically, it's a good film. And I mean technical. But in terms of taste- I made sure to say it's terrible. You have to enjoy a good howl.

People hate it obviously because it has almost nothing to do with the 1973 original and the name is just slapped on the cover. You should watch James Rolfe's ( The Angry Video Game Nerd) take on the film. He did it for his Monster Madness 2010: Camp Cult. www.cinemassacre.com/2010/10/14/exorcist-2/And just for shits and gigs; I know you adore Troll 2, so here's his take on "The Troll Trilogy". He does one Horror review every day for the month of October, this one is today's. www.cinemassacre.com/2010/10/23/troll-trilogy/

I'm actually going to be re-reviewing The Dream Master (I'm leaving the original copy untouched for now on Page 3) and adding at least 2 more Freddy films to the batch here fairly soon... As well as, finally, delivering (I promised) Lucio Fulci's Zombie, Tremors 3 and 4, and Joy Ride. I should be able to tackle those Tremors tonight, then I will do some notes for Zombie later.
As for Dracula and Nosferatu... I haven't done any films previous to 1968 because I'm not very good with classic horror. But, I'm going to be expanding the BoH (to make up for my miserably failed Greatest Horror Scenes project - when my last computer died, I lost ALL the notes I had and the order and it took me a week to get that together, but I still have the pictures and so, I should really use them somehow) with a new feature. Instead of Chapters, they'll be Articles. I can most definitely squeeze in Dracula (thanks to Netflix, since they have it on instant and I only have it on a VHS I recorded from AMC (the channel who always censored the Friday the 13th films, Halloween sequels- etc).
I'll see what I can do.

Thanx for putting Zombi in The Book of Horrors that film really deserves it! Especially all the gore and the fight scene!

Well, I haven't hit a dry spell or anything yet. It was just with my big plans for October (which of course means, I had to take time out in September to plan - planning with me often takes longer than the actual doing - and etc.), then with the friggin' computer problems I had from last week of September clear through into 3rd week of November, and hassles with roommates and having to work, and my little free time already split between a good 4 different hobby directions... I don't get that much time to devote to all. Right now, my gay interests are taking up most of my time. Then, I've been researching TV because I could do that while I got lunch and dinner breaks, etc. But I plan on coming back to BoH very seriously next week. Hopefully by that time, I've got some more damn content. I wanted to re-write the Nightmare reviews because I'm not sure they've been getting my full treatment (Phantasm and Pet Sematary could also do with a little sprucing up). Some reviews I really pat myself on the back for and others I have a remarkably hard time getting through. You'll see length is usually the indicator.
Anyway, point of reply being: there are still well over 80-90 more movies I'm planning for the BoH. Whether they deserve it or not.
And- I've done some Moderatin' work and merged all the REPLY posts from the BoH into this Reactions & News thread. You don't have to reply here when you have something to say about a review of mine if you don't want to - but remember that, eventually, anything you say will be moved to this thread.

Can't say I didn't expect this. Three, to me, was a good Tremors film. It did deteriorate from the original, and did lack the excitement of three, but I really did enjoy it in a way. On to four, I predict one and a half stars.

Coming Soon...
A new project to get excited about. I'm doing an Official Disney Digest. Sort of like the Book of Horror, but it will also expand into a full-on Movies from Hell type thing with lots of pictures, observations, video links (if I can find anything fun), maybe even a little history, etc.
This time, I will be able to promise one Spotlight per week. And deliver. I'm aiming for Wednesday's. Starting with a good portion of the "Animated Classics" series, but this will also include Article divisions (like I've just begun in The Book of Horror for Dracula and Mario Bava) for Disney's famous shorts. That's right- Silly Symphonies, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip & Dale, etc. So, in addition to the films- there will be cartoon shorts as well. I'm hoping to get 3 of those per week plus the film. So, for the shorts- let's try Monday, Friday, and Saturday.
Also, in lighter news, the Tales from the Crypt season reviews have all been edited to change the yellow star ratings to the red ones and now all the 2-pages have been condensed into 1. Don't worry though, every reply has been transferred to the right starter-post. Nothing's been deleted.
