Was just reading over my review and I want to make sure everyone knows "pussy" is meant to be "puss-y" as in the sick that drips from infected, gaping, festering wounds. Have to fix that later.
Yes, I remember it too because I was (and still am, from time to time) putting together a screenplay / story in my head for a horror film and it's about her. She influenced it very much.

Tremors: The Legened Begins, to me, was enjoyable since I love the franchise. But I do agree with you that the CGI/Computer effects were shitty. The jumping Graboids were atrocious.

Just found and watched Hold That Pose on Youtube. Very funny Goofy short. Even though it had the tiresome "chase" scene, I was never bored, and laughed out in frequent parts to this. Also agree with you on Goofy and Donald making the funny shorts. Thats definitely true.

Even though it had the tiresome "chase" scene That was one of the best parts- that's when the bear's character part expanded. No matter where Goofy ran, the bear was there. And can you believe bears know how to drive, work elevators, etc.? It was a riot.

Three and a half stars. I was never bored.

I plan to squeeze in all the original classics. Although, at the rate it's taking me to do this first movie (like- 4 to 5 hours at least to do up the text and a couple hours now for the pics, you'll see why when the page goes up), it takes quite a while. I actually planned to have the movie up by Thursday. But, I'm settling into this new format. Maybe soon, I'll be able to squeeze them out quicker. Hoping not to exhaust all of my Disney-related observations (which is why there wasn't another cartoon spotlight on Friday- those things go by like a flash). I also have a new BoH'er waiting to be finished. And I'm planning on some TV reviews for the next month. Jan's gonna be BUSY.

TV reviews are a bust. I started trying to do my notes... MAN! Trying to scan each episode for best pics, best quotes, and notes for opinions... to divide your attention up between that many things at the same time? Impossible! I wanted to try doing Season Reviews for sitcoms (I had at least 3 on my mind). Not gonna happen. Although, in February, I will definitely be reviewing some - what I call - Cult TV. But, American mainstream situation comedies? No way.
So... instead... I have yet another announcement for a brand new series coming soon... :
Inside the Cave: DVD Reviews
Since my collection is mostly horror, that's what it will focus on. But I hope to offer an in-depth, comprehensive look at the format, bonus features, flaws, etc. As well as a series within the series itself that compares multiple editions of the same film. I hope to get the first installment up before Monday. I begin work on it today.
Of course, I will tackle every single feature on a given disc. Except for maybe Text Bios and "Cast & Crew Info." And I will try and rate their quality on a simple scale. Either A-F or 1-5. Something like that. Commentaries will include an Index - so you know what they're talking about on each chapter (just in case you're not interested in how they did the special effects- you'd rather jump to a section where they share an anecdote about meeting Madonna or something like that). Directions will be included (in picture form) for finding hidden bonus features. Lots o' stuff.

Season Reviews sounds like a good idea, but thats hard to focus on. Especially when you said "Trying to scan each episode for best pics, best quotes, and notes for opinions". Sounds tedious and frustrating. Youll find something brilliant to review.

I'm only having this problem with 1 show. I've got something brilliant alright. And something I feel people should definitely get into. I'll do it eventually, but the difference is between getting a season review up in a week or 2-3 months. So, for the compromise- I will have to do a show with episodes I've seen 5 times a piece or one I don't care about (I think I've got one in mind for May or something that would fit that bill).

IMPORTANT QUESTION, must know: on my Disney Spotlight for Pinocchio, when you move your mouse over the pictures, does anything screwy happen? Do they start disappearing and then reappearing again? I'm still working with this new computer and while I think (I really hope, that's for sure) my pictures are starting to look better- there are a lot of kinks in this new system. I would be willing to make the rest of my Feature Spotlights with Enlargeable Pictures if I know that they work for you guys. They go screwy for me (the small pictures, the large ones look fine). What about you guys? Here be the link: stevethemovieman.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=member&thread=1546&page=1#14799
