I can't confirm it either way, even if you've guessed right with that one- I'm contractually obligated to say it's a surprise.
(But here's a clue for you to either keep guessing or know you're right with that one: I've already reviewed the first 2 movies in said franchise. One's in Horror Holiday, so if you feel like poking around- you only have 1 page to search through.)
(The already reviewed articles will be posted on Sunday to kick off the following week's upcoming reviews.)

I don't know, I liked the Fear Itself Television series. Yes, a lot of the stories were under-developed, but it was on NBC, and they only had one week so it's not like their was any continuity between the two shows since it was different every week. I was just happy network TV is finally giving a horror Television show a chance instead of ignoring it. Not every episode was good, but at least they tried.
Also, Ronny Yu, director of Freddy vs. Jason, and, our favorite, Bride of Chucky directs an episode on the show. Name slips my mind.

(The following only applies to the episodes I've reviewed so far) :
The filmmakers had more than a week to work on things like the music scores- and they suck. They had more than a week to write the screenplays and they're cliched and not interesting. The characters don't have to be this stereotypical and boring. The acting does not have to be this slapped together. The direction could be better and the show could take some risks. There was a conscious decision made to go forward with the series based on worn out ideas and to put all the work into the look of things like flashbacks and sets. I gave the show credit (and plenty of it) for what it was successful in doing.
And of course, as noted on Facebook, I believe the show had nowhere to go but up from here. I haven't been too hard on the first two episodes. It just so happens they were not good.

I think NP reviewed many, if not, all of the films in that franchise.

No, this new Friday the 13th project won't be a review. I've pretty much reviewed the hell out of those things as is. This one will be YouTube based and, in a sense, it will be an offshoot of the My 90's project.
It's not much, but here's a little something I did earlier this year to tide you over, Pat:
And, Steve's still doing the franchise sometime before October (most likely). I don't want to step on his toes.

Aw, cool.
The weekends are usually really clogged for me to write, etc. But Monday is always one of my best and most time-free days. So I do plan on getting to a couple of Childhood Memory films. Ya know what I mean? One will be the mystery comedy I eluded to on the last page - which coincides with one of my biggest WtF? reactions as a kid, I actually felt sick, freaked out, and nearly vomited at one point; it was WAY too extreme for kids like me - and the other will be the single saddest movie of my childhood. So get ready for a particularly freaky one tomorrow.
Fear Itself and Power Rangers will continue taking a break for awhile. But in a couple of weeks, I hope to get back to them. Currently, my focus is on Monday's movies, potentially starting a new Special Edition franchise week, and doing something about that Friday the 13th project I mentioned. Which I'm still going nuts over in my head (I think I have a very fun, interesting idea).
In the meantime, anything goes. There'll be an update in this thread Tuesday morning (around 6AM, when the roommates finally get off the fucking computer) on what will be happening the rest of the week. But, I expect Part 2 of My 90's will be ready by Wednesday. Unless I decide to start Special Edition Week 2 of Horror Holiday. Next month, I hope to start expanding my reviews on The Normal World...Sorta to include more films from the 60's and 70's as well as foreign films, documentaries, and art films. And, finally, open Horror Holiday and The Book of Horror back up.
I expect the next 2 weeks will be a little lite on content. But September will be bursting at the seems. I'll make sure of that.

In all honesty, NP, what is your favorite Disney film? No ties, no perhaps's, your all time favorite Disney masterpiece.

Sorry to move your post (I always move them to this comments thread but never say "I hope you don't mind at all"), I just had a flow going and since I'm not near the top 5 yet, I don't want to mention the movie before I get to it.
I'll tell you in PM.

You're making me want to see these films even more. I need to try and plan of marathon watching all the Burton films and the Schumacher "atrocity," so people say. They seem like fun, campy, clever little pieces of pulp, and they shouldn't be compared on the same level to Nolan's trilogy, which to be fair, are very, very professionally executed pieces of cinema, transporting Batman from the pulpy comic to the gloomy, noir-ish streets of Gotham.
