I started getting into Country around 1999, and my mom used to buy a lot of Toby Keith and Keith Urban cassette tapes for me. That's when music entered my world.

I went with Insomniac instead, since it looked like a more 90's album cover. I'm definitely looking more at the memorability of the artwork rather than the music on the album. Since I can't claim that "I was there" for most of the major musical moments. Almost all the music I listened to- I didn't get into until the later years. There's also the mud fight from Woodstock. Also, if you're doing fashion be sure to mention flannel.

You included one of the wittiest animated programs of all time right? Does this ring a bell or give you a hint what that show might be?

There'll be 3 videos so far and I'm thinking each one will be about 9 minutes a piece.
I should be finished by Monday, so they'll be up then or before. I'm aiming to get the first one up tomorrow morning.

Yes.
But, what I'm trying to do with these videos is to make people feel the 90's. By mixing music from the time with images taken from various pieces of it, to put them in the middle of it. I'm not so sure that would work with another format. If I did a talking video, what would that be? My voice right now, who I am now. I believe the same applies to any other way of doing this idea. This isn't a parody or a wink-wink or anything clever. It's a loving, honest tribute to what made the time unique and memorable to someone who really respects and is in awe of it. So, I want to be the most direct and straight-forward in creating these videos. The last thing I want to do is make something that feels like a comparison video.

Oh yeah, that's the best way to do it. What does it mean if you just talk about the nineties? Nothing. If you make a video with 90's music and pictures, it sets the proper tonality.

I'll probably get to My 90's part 2 over the weekend.
In the meantime, something special this way comes next week. Another Movie-Every-Day Franchise Review. Guess which franchise? I'll give ya a hint: almost every sequel is on Netflix: Watch Instant and Steve really likes part 1.

It's not Child's Play, Final Destination, or Tremors.
